When I was in Berlin in thr summer of 2019, my favorite musician, Andrew Bird, was playing a show and I got the chance to see him. It’s the farthest away from home I’ve gone to see an artist perform. On the same day I discovered a coffee roaster in Berlin called The Barn, who produced the best coffee I’ve ever had in my life. To this day, every time I listen to Andrew Bird, I think of Berlin that coffee experience. This song I chose, Oh No, the opening track from Andrew’s Noble Beast record sounds like that first sip of of coffee on a sunny Spring morning in a field surrounded by woods and water.
