New York’s Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) recently announced that as of March 2028, arabica futures contracts will no longer be priced in US cents per pound. Instead, ICE will implement a US $/tonne (or metric ton) pricing mechanism, although a new date has not yet been confirmed for this transition.
